Rake - The money removed from each pot by the house is the rake. The amount of the rake is based on the size of the pot as a whole. Our house rake is 5% of the pot size capping at $3. Where there are side pots, the rake is always taken from the main pot.
Planet Poker has a "no flop - no drop" policy which means that if there is no flop then the pot is not raked.
Planet Poker use a variable rake structure calculated as follows:
For our lowest limit games, $.05/$.10:

For 2 - 10 players: caps at $.05 for pots $1 and over; $.01
for a $.20-$.40 pot; $.02 for a $.40-$.60 pot; $.03 for
a $.60-$.80 pot; $.04 for a $.80-$1.00 pot
For our limit games up to $.25/$.50:

for a $1-$2 pot; $.10 for a $2-$3 pot; $.15 for a $3-$4

In our $.50-$1.00 Draw 5 games, the rake structure will be capped at $.50 regardless of the number of players.

In our $8-$16 Draw 5 games, the rake caps at $3 for pots over $60 regardless of the number of players.
For limit games $15/$30 and higher:
- 1 - 3 players: caps at $1 for pots sized $40 or more
- 4 - 5 players: caps at $2; $1 for a $40 - $69 pot, $2 for pot $70 or more
- 6 - 10 players: caps at $3 for pots over $100; $1 for a $40 - $69 pot, $2 for pot $70 - $99
